Comstock Park
Comstock Park Head Start is located on Oakridge Ave in the handicap accessible Green Ridge Early Child development center off 4 Mile Rd. The parking lot is paved and the landscape is beautiful!
We have the unique opportunity to share our building with 4 other programs :
- Great Start Readiness Program
- Tuition Based Preschool
- Comstock Park ECSE
- Kent ISD Early Childhood Center (North Campus); children with severe physical and cognitive disabilities.
Comstock Park News
Comstock Head Start is a traditional year site and has seven classrooms; 3 three year old classrooms and 4 four year old classrooms. Our 4-year-old classrooms use C4L Curriculum and the 3-year-old classrooms use the Creative Curriculum – these allow us to individualize for each child.
Our classroom sizes range 16-17 children with 2 highly qualified teachers in each classroom that love children!
We collaborate with local school districts to help meet all the needs of your child to help prepare them for life’s next steps!
Our playground is brand new with swings, slides, tunnels, merry-go-round, bike path, and trees for shade. Come check it out! We can’t wait to get to know you and your child! See you soon!
