North Kent
North Kent Head Start is a small site situated along White Creek Road in Cedar Springs, located in northern Kent County. We have three classrooms that house only 3-year-old, full day programs. The building overlooks a private lake where the children can view nature, observe wildlife, catch insects, and all while engaged in outside play.
Our outside area has swings, a play structure, slides, bikes and bike track, sandbox and grassy areas for imaginative play. When the weather does not permit outside time, the children are busy utilizing the gym area or learning and exploring inside their classrooms with the many different interest areas and variety of activities, toys, games and creative supplies to develop their young minds.
